THE corner of a field at Luckington has been transformed during an eight-year labour of love into a haven of tranquility.
Cherry Orchard Barn and its garden started off as a one-acre plot of rough land around an old threshing barn and a cattle byre.
As part of their project to convert the buildings into a home, Paul Fletcher and Tim Guard began creating a series of different themed spaces - a pond garden containing roses, clematis, lavender, geraniums and others in curved beds. There's a circular lawn garden and a parterre featuring a sculpture.
It's open between 1pm and 5 on July 17 in aid of Dogs for Good. Admission is £5 for adults, children go free.Visit ngs.org.uk
