A burst water main has closed one of Swindon town centre's main streets.

Thames Water and officers from Wiltshire Police are currently on the scene and the area was blocked off.
Wiltshire Police said on Twitter that it will be hours before the road will be able to reopen and that drivers should take alternative routes.
The road reopened at 10:45am, but only one lane is open as Themes Water continue to work on the issue.

Thames Water commented on the incident and said: "We’re sorry to those people who have no water or lower pressure than normal.
"We’re investigating what’s happened and will do all we can to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.
"In the meantime, we’ll be setting up places where our customers can collect bottled water from and details of these can be found on our website."
