TK Maxx is relocating and the dates for the big move have been revealed.
The Swindon branch of the fashion store is currently based on Great Western Way but the new Mannington Retail Park store will open next week.
It is moving to the former John Lewis building at the retail park and will open on July 28.
The inside of the new shop is kitted out with escalators, racks of empty shelves and signs advertising the new cafe. All that seems to be missing is the stock.
It has been confirmed that the Great Western Way store will shut on July 26.
The building has been emptied apart from clearance items which the store is hoping to sell before it closes. The cafe has also shut.
Most of the remaining items are clothes, shoes and homeware.
Planning documents suggest that Home Bargains will take over the prominent Great Western Way site.
John Lewis confirmed its Mannington Retail Park store would shut in July 2020 along with three other At Home stores in Croydon, Tamworth and Newbury.
The building remained vacant until builders started working on the TK Maxx shop in April.
TK Maxx sells men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes, toys, bath and beauty productrs, accessories and home products.
