A new venue could be added to Swindon's nightlife soon.
Swindon Borough Council has received a licensing application for a new premises on Victoria Road - close to the Regent Circus entertainment centre.
The application has been submitted by Sadik Ali of Queens Drive, Walcot.
Mr Ali wants to run the his business between the hours of noon and 4am the following day, serving alcohol to patrons along with light bites such as pizza and chips.
Until recently, the site was home to licensed premises such as the Circus Bar and Foxies.
The licensing application includes the prospect of having a DJ, live entertainment and 24-hour CCTV.
Additionally, music monitors will be installed to keep sound levels down and to avoid disruption to the locals.

The full application can be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
