THIEVES ran off with an engagement ring and a bracelet from a jewellery shop on Regent Street.
Police are looking for a man and a woman who entered the shop and asked to try on the jewellery before running away without paying at around 3.15pm last Tuesday.
CCTV images have been released of the two people officers would like to identify and speak to in connection with the theft.
The man is described as white, around 6ft tall and he was wearing sunglasses.
He had short, dark hair and was wearing a black hoodie, dark blue jeans and white Nike trainers.
He spoke with a British accent and made a comment about recently breaking his foot.
The woman is described as white, around 5ft 2ins tall, with shoulder-length blonde hair.
She had a nose piercing and was wearing a green t-shirt, black jeans and white trainers.
She was also wearing sunglasses and spoke with a British accent.
She was carrying a white shopping bag and a black rucksack.
