A SWINDON man has admitted a number of offences after two burglaries.
Michael Alfred Loraine admitted two burglaries in Pinehurst and Kingshill last month.
He then used stolen bank cards to make a number of purchases.
In a hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday (July 29), Loraine pleaded guilty to two counts of dwelling burglary with intent to steal and three counts of fraud.
The court heard he burgled a property in Hunters Grove, Pinehurst, with intent to steal tobacco, a wallet and its contents, on June 3.
Around a week later, between June 11 and 14, he burgled a property at Arthur Bennett Court with intent to steal a handbag and its contents.
It was heard Loraine, of County Road, used stolen bank cards at the Premier Store in Cricklade Road and a Polish supermarket in Manchester Road on June 3.
On June 13, he used a stolen bank card at Esso in Fleming Way.
Appearing at Swindon Crown Court via video link from Bullingdon prison, where the case was adjourned.
He will next appear on September 2.
The 56-year-old was remanded into custody.
