VANDALS have been slammed by Swindon Cricket Club after damaging its historic pavilion.
CCTV footage shared by the club shows three men damaging the pipework before walking off.
One of the yobs then tosses one of the pipes over the fence, hitting the windscreen of a Honda Civic in the car park next door.
The act has frustrated the club, which is currently in its busiest three months of the year.
Vice-chairman Daniel Harris said: “We’re a not-for-profit, completely volunteer-run club, every penny that we raise and us having to spend money on those sort of things is frustrating.
“It’s really annoying, we’ve got this amazing team of volunteers and coaches that give all their time up and plough money into the club and it’s just frustrating.
“It’s mindless, it impacts not just the volunteers but also our members because we are spending money and effort on something where we don’t need to be.”
Wiltshire Police has issued an appeal for anyone who may have information in connection with this incident.
Writing on social media, they said: “Do you recognise these people?
“We would like to contact them in relation to damage caused to Swindon Cricket Club’s listed pavilion.
“They are believed to have damaged drainage pipes at the rear of the building, throwing a section at cars parked nearby.
“The incident took place at 7.40pm on Monday, August 1.
“If you have any information that could help identify those responsible, please call us on 101 quoting log number 54220081501.
“Alternatively you can leave information anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
Swindon Town Football Club has also urged the public to help identify the alleged perpetrators.
