A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after an incident at a Swindon town centre park.
Police were called to a disturbance at Queen's Park shortly after 4pm today.
Officers detained an 18-year-old on suspicion of GBH.
A man in his 30s was injured during the incident. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
The suspect has been taken to Gablecross Station for questioning.
Duty Supt Phil Staynings said: “People may notice an increased police presence in the area this afternoon while officers continue with their enquiries – please do not be alarmed by this. If you have any concerns, please do approach an officer.”
