Police would like to speak to the man pictured after a member of staff at Melksham Co-Op store was spat at, assaulted and verbally abused between 5.30pm and 5.50pm on July 17.
POLICE are investigating an incident at the Co-Op store in Melksham in which a member of staff was spat at.
Between approximately 5.30pm and 5.50pm on July 17, a man entered the Co Op store in Verbena Court where verbal altercation took place between him and a member of staff.
The man became angry and assaulted the member of staff. He also spat at him. The victim was not injured.
Police said: "We’d like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident."
