THE inquest into the death of the woman killed in a crash in Dorset has opened.
Motorcyclist Camilla Suzanne Pike, 34, died following a crash with a car on the A35 Woodbury Cross shortly before 8pm on Tuesday, August 9.
Area coroner for Dorset, Brendan Allen, opened and adjourned the inquest at a short hearing at Bournemouth Town Hall yesterday.
Coroner’s officer Nigel Underwood told the hearing Ms Pike, of Sherston, Malmesbury, Wiltshire was involved in a crash on August 9.
He said police and the ambulance attended and Ms Pike was pronounced dead at the scene.
A medical cause of death was given as polytrauma, the inquest was told.
Mr Allen adjourned the inquest for a full hearing in March 2023.
Following the crash, police appealed for witnesses to come forward to help the investigation.
