BEYOND a belt of ancient woodland near Ludgershall sit the stunning gardens of Redenham Park House.
Built in 1784 the Grade II listed property nestles in parkland that has been designated as having several sites of importance for nature conservation.
One of the main attractions in the gardens, which are at the back of the house, are a herbaceous borders, which are at their best in late summer. There's a mostly white formal rose garden, an avenue of pleated limes, a croquet lawn with a tapestry hedge, pear and apple trees and a kitchen garden behind a door in the thatched cobb wall.
The gardens are open on September 22 between 2.30 and 5pm. Visit ngs.org.uk for details.
