The spectacular contemporary gardens at Woolton House near Newbury are the only example of French landscape architect Pascal Cribier's work in the country.
Its dramatic layout features long lines of produce interspersed with flowers to create colour and textures.
Set in four acres, it is influenced by Mondrian and is planted in blues and yellows, while the tramline garden is in red and green.
There is a picking garden with red pillars for the vines that give shade to the flowerbeds and in the rose garden there a majestic pond on different levels.
It is open on September 23 between 2 and 5pm. Admission is £8 for adults. Children go free. Visit ngs.org.uk for more.
