THREE teenagers are planning to complete the UK's highest bungee jump to raise money for a children's hospital.
Jamie Allen, Natasha Gazzard and Victoria Gazzard, of Purton, will be taking the leap in aid of Great Ormond Hospital in London. Their 300ft jump will take place at the Liquid Leisure water park in Windsor. Jamie says the group were inspired to do the jump to support the cause, which they feel particularly strongly about.
He said: "It is a cause that we all thought would be very good because whatever extra money the hospital gets is put back into research for those who are currently vulnerable.
"We just want to help make the children's lives easier.
"We know Great Ormond Street helps 100,000 people a year and we want to take part in that.
"I think at the end of this if we raise all the money we have in mind we will be thrilled.
"We hope that someone will sponsor us to do the jump so that all the money we raise will go to the charity."
The teenagers, who are raising money by asking friends and family to donate, are hoping to raise at least £400. Anyone interested in donating or sponsoring is asked to call Victoria on 07825 663953.
