FIREFIGHTERS in Swindon will be getting wet and soapy at a fundraising car wash this weekend.
Crews from the Westlea fire station will be running the car washing service on Saturday to raise vital funds for animal charity the PDSA.
The event has been organised by Nikki Kimmens, who is also running the London marathon for the charity. The wash will take place on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
"I want to raise at least £400 and I'm hoping the sight of firefighters washing cars will prove popular," said Nikki.
Funds raised by Nikki will help provide free veterinary care to sick and injured pets belonging to people in need. For more information about the PDSA, visit www.pdsa.org.uk
