TICKETS are still available to a fan convention for a local author.
The Fforde Ffiesta 2008 is a celebration of the novels of Jasper Fforde, whose Thursday Next series is set in Swindon.
The convention will be held at the De Vere Hotel, Shaw Ridge, on May 3 and 4.
It will include a guided bus tour around areas of Swindon mentioned in the books, a fancy dress ball, murder mystery gala dinner and an audience participation performance of Richard III.
Phil McMullen, Ffiesta director, said: "The 2005 convention, also held in Swindon, was a runaway success and attracted worldwide attention.
"I have every reason to believe the 2008 Fforde Ffiesta will be bigger and better still."
