Several pubs, takeaways and restaurants across Swindon have received new food hygiene ratings.
It comes following inspections at various premises by the Food Standards Agency.
McDonald’s in Abbey Meads was given the maximum score of five following an assessment on October 10.
Aramark UK Ltd which provides food and catering services at Great Western Hospital was also given the highest possible score after an inspection on October 4.
The Bakers Arms pub in Badbury also received a five-out-of-five rating after it was assessed on July 12.
A pub that was handed a four-out-of-five rating was the Clifton Hotel in Kingshill. It was inspected on July 8.
Furthermore, the following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens after being looked at by the FSA:
- Rated 5: Serco Health (C/O SWICC) at The Great Western Hospital, Marlborough Road, Swindon; rated on October 4.
- Rated 5: HQ Hospitality Ltd (c/o Wyvern Theatre) at Wyvern Theatre, Theatre Square, Swindon; rated on July 7.
And one rating has been handed to a takeaway:
- Rated 4: Topfry at 470 Ferndale Road, Swindon; rated on September 21
