A car parked without the handbrake rolled and crashed into a pub near West Swindon causing extensive damage.
Firefighters from Westlea were called to the Sun Inn, Lydiard Millicent on Thursday to find the vehicle up against the badly dented wall.
A spokesperson from Westlea Fire Station said: "We were mobilised by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Control to an incident where a vehicle had been parked without the handbrake applied, allowing it to roll back causing damage to a public house.
"The crew made the scene safe before handing it back to the owner."
The full extent of the damage and how much it might cost to repair is not known. The Sun Inn was approached for comment.
