AN ARGUMENT on a Rodbourne street ended in violence earlier this week.
A public disagreement in Redcliffe Street at around 10.15am on Monday November 7 saw one man punch the other in the face.
Officers responded to reports of the attack and are investigating.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault.
A spokesman said: "The man we would like to speak to in connection with this is described as white, aged in his 60s, 5ft 10inch tall, thick-set with a bald head and a well-trimmed, silver-coloured goatee beard.
"He was wearing a mid-green puffer jacket and bright blue trainers.
"The man reportedly ran off in the direction of Saltash Road via the footpath with Redcliffe Street.
