The popular eatery parked in Cirencester Road has been nominated in the British Kebab Awards for Van Of The Year against nine other UK businesses.

And after feasting on a shish, the new monarch could even quench his thirst with a bottle viral sensation Prime which is now being sold at the van.

The British Kebab Awards, is in its 11th year with categories ranging from best newcomer to chef of the year and customer satisfaction.

Founder Ibrahim Dogus said: “Kebab eateries are a key part of the local community and it’s great to see so many entries at the end of a year that has tested every business operating in the hospitality sector.

“Getting to the shortlist is a real achievement given the competition across the country and all outlets should be rightly proud.

“We wish all finalists the best of luck.”

The ceremony which takes place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge Hotel on February 28 will have over 1,200 guests, including Cabinet ministers and Shadow Cabinet members such as Tory minister Nadhim Zahawi.
