A man and a woman had to go to hospital following a crash on a busy roundabout in Swindon this weekend.

The collision happened on the roundabout next to the Wetherspoons’ The Dockle Farmhouse pub in the early evening of Saturday, February 4.

Police were called to the scene at around 7.25pm, with an ambulance also in attendance.

A driver who passed through the area at around 8.20pm said: “There were two cars, two police cars and an ambulance, all with flashing lights on."

The man and woman involved, both of which were in their 20s, have injuries but neither case is thought to be severe.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were contacted at around 7.25pm yesterday (04/02) following a two vehicle RTC on the Dockle Farmhouse roundabout.

“The two drivers, a man and a woman both in their 20s, were taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be serious.”
