The following public notices for Swindon have been published in the last week.

OLD TOWN: Notice is hereby given that the following applications have been submitted to Swindon Borough Council.

Applications can be viewed using the Public Access system via the website http://pa.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess and by entering the application number into the search box.

Any person who wishes to make any representations should do so via the Public Access link above or in writing to the following address: Planning Department, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JG by April 7, 2023.

Please note that any representations will be made available for public inspection.

A planning application (reference S/HOU/23/0249JAAB) proposes building a single-storey rear extension onto 81 Goddard Avenue.

INGLESHAM: A planning application (reference S/23/0218AMMY) includes details for the construction of a general purpose agricultural building at Middle Farm on Inglesham Lane.

SWINDON: A planning application (reference S/OUT/23/0171HEAS) includes outline plans to turn Plot 3 of Symmetry Park at the Eastern Villages into a building for employment use (Eg, B2, B8).

RODBOURNE: A planning application (reference S/ADV/23/0232SIMPSO) seeks permission to display one set of halo-illuminated fascia text and one illuminated high-level roundel at the Pizza Express restaurant in the Mcarthur Glen Great Western Outlet Village on Kemble Drive.

There is another planning application (reference S/LBC/23/0234SIMPSO) for the same property which would like to also install one set of halo-illuminated fascia text and one illuminated high-level roundel

STANTON FITZWARREN: A planning application (reference S/LBC/23/0085SIMPSO) details the erection of replacement roof tiles at The Old Rectory on 1 Trenchard Road.

WALCOT: A building certified for worship named Bethel Open Door Community Church (Apostolic) Radclyffe Close, Walcot Swindon, in the registration district of Swindon in the Unitary Authority of Swindon, was on February 13, 2023, registered for solemnizing marriages therein, pursuant to Section 41 of the Marriage Act 1949 (as amended by Section 1(1) of the Marriage Acts Amendment Act 1958).

TOWN CENTRE: A traffic order (reference STR000506) is being introduced for fibre network installation works.

It will prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from proceeding on Westcott Place between the Faringdon Road and Wootton Bassett Road junctions.

Traffic to be diverted via A3102 Wootten Bassett Road to Mannington Roundabout, B4006 Great Western Way to Bruce Street Bridges Roundabout, Kemble Drive, Rodbourne Road, Park Lane and vice versa.

It is anticipated that works will take place between April 1 and 19 2023.

TOWN CENTRE: A traffic order (reference STR000526) is being introduced for Openreach works.

It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Milton Road. Alternative Route - via Faringdon Road, Farnsby Street and Milton Road.

It is anticipated that work will take place on April 17 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

SOUTH MARSTON: A traffic order (reference STR000550) is being introduced for Openreach works.

It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Chapel Lane outside Pear Tree House.

It is anticipated that works will take place on April 17 and 18.

HAYDON: A traffic order (reference STR000546) is being introduced for sewer repair works.

It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Aylesbury Street and the rear of Haydon Street.

Alternative Route - via Haydon Street, Alexandra Road, Station Road, Corporation Street, Manchester Road, Milford Street, Holbrook Way and Station Road.

It is anticipated that works will take place between April 24 and May 15.
