A town centre pub in Swindon has been featured alongside the new Doctor Who in a safety advert for British Airways this week.
The Beehive on Prospect Hill was shown in the flight safety video alongside several celebrities including tennis star Emma Raducanu as well as Netflix’s Sex Education actor and new the new Doctor Who, Ncuti Gatwa.
At around the three minutes and six seconds mark of the video, the pub's exterior can be seen for a short time.
After seeing the video released worldwide this week, Beehive landlord Andy Marcer said he felt proud.
“It’s probably less than a second but it was really great to be featured as it is better to be flying high isn’t it,” he said.
“They approached me for permission a little while back but I have no idea why,” said Andy.
“After that, they just turned up one day, did some filming and left.”
The video, entitled ‘The Original Safety Video’ can be viewed on a variety of channels including British Airways’ YouTube channel.
