A TikToker who targets 'feral, overpriced properties' has turned her attention to a home in Swindon

A five-bedroom home in Church Walk, was on the market on Rightmove for £300,000, but social media content creator Rachel Kitcat (@rachkitcat) has skewered this price as extortionate.

In the video posted onto the popular social media platform last month, she shows photos from the property's listing that reveal a multitude of faults, and rails against the asking price of over a quarter of a million pounds.

She starts the video by saying: "Welcome to another episode of 'Why we should all get depressed about the current rental market', today we are visiting Swindon" before thanking a follower for suggesting this particular home."

In the listing, the home was described as a 'Full renovation project required. Five bedrooms detached. A great chance to put your own stamp on a property' and it had a ‘spacious front and rear garden, with the front having driveway parking accommodating up to four vehicles.’

She calls the building a 'very overpriced property' and accuses the agent's description of going off on a tangent about what's nearby to hide the fact that 'the property is s***'.

In one of the photos on the listing, she shows a dilapidated kitchen with no flooring and a caved-in ceiling.

"I don't know why this is a running theme with the majority of the properties on the market right now, but what the hell is going on with the ceiling? Why are they all caving in, what are we all doing upstairs to warrant this?"

She later says that a room that has been painted a vibrant red was leaving her with a 'sodding migraine' and that the room was 'brighter than the property's future.'

Rachel also takes aim at the state of the garden, which appears to be an overgrown mess.

"I wouldn't even know where to start, I'd turn around, go back out that front door and never return," she concludes.
