There are currently four schools in Swindon that are rated 'outstanding’ by Ofsted.

The town is home to hundreds of schools at varying age levels but under half a dozen qualify as Ofsted’s highest rating for quality.

Outstanding in Ofsted’s reports means that the provider has been rated as providing an exceptional level of care and education.

It is one of the highest accreditation that a school can receive in the United Kingdom and stands as a useful way of rating the school’s performance as a whole.
