Families can enjoy an entertaining storytime session in Swindon during Pride month.
Swindon and Wiltshire Pride has announced that Drag Queen Story Hour will be hosting an event at the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday, June 11 from 11am to 12pm. Visitors should arrive no later than 10.45am.
A Swindon and Wiltshire Pride spokesperson said: “We are super excited to announce that Drag Queen Story Hour UK will be joining us for Pride month.
“A fabulous storytelling drag performer will be reading you some fabulous stories in an exciting storytime show, just for us.
“Suitable for all ages. Most exciting for ages three and above.”
A Drag Queen Story Hour spokesperson added: “We want to show the world that being different is not a bad thing, and by providing imaginative role models for children to look up to, we can change the world book by book.
“We bring you five-star performers who have performed all across the UK in schools, festivals, museums, nurseries, conventions, private events and more.
“Drag Queen Story Hour UK has been honoured to have performers who have been received so positively."
