If you're hoping to make the most of the final bank holiday until August, you're in luck.

The latest Met Office weather forecast suggests that there will be plenty of warm weather and sunny skies over Swindon and Wiltshire.

Today (Friday), there will be hours of uninterrupted sunshine all the way through to just after 8pm, with temperatures ranging from seven degrees Celsius to 19C.

Saturday will have similarly clear blue skies, with slightly higher temperatures of nine to 20C.

Cloud cover will appear above Swindon on Sunday but the sun will still peek out from behind at intervals, and there is very little chance of rain. Temperatures are expected to be the same as on Friday.

The good weather will continue into next week, with the clouds clearing by midday to allow the sunshine to return. Temperatures may drop slightly but still range between six to 16C on Monday, and eight to 18C on Tuesday.

Things will really heat up later on, with highs of 20 and 21 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, and lots more sunshine.

UV levels will be very high over the weekend, so keep some sun cream handy, and hay fever sufferers should be aware of the medium levels of pollen.
