Ten Wiltshire locals have been shortlisted as they battle it out to claim the prize of being named the pub of the year.

The competition to determine the best pub in the Chippenham parliamentary constituency has seen the top ten locals in the area nominated by over 1,000 voters during recent weeks.

One pub will be crowned the winner on National Beer Day, held on Thursday, June 15, and those hoping to see their favourite landlord prevail can vote up until Monday, June 12.

The final shortlist for the 2023 edition of the competition, which is being run by MP Michelle Donelan, can be found below.

The winning pub will receive their trophy during a visit from a cabinet minister and will have an opportunity to speak about what makes their pub special to the community.

Ms Donelan said: “Pubs are the backbone of our community, supporting our local economy and bringing our towns and villages together.”
