THERE will be pints-a-plenty for locals as Wanborough's annual beer and cider festival returns.

The regular event returns to the village's New Calley Arms pub over Friday and Saturday.

Beer and cider lovers will have the chance to drink over 30 different alcohols, 20 beers and 10 ciders from breweries and cider farms around the country.

There will also be live music to keep people entertained while they enjoy their beverages with Stripped playing on Friday evening and Elizabeth and Jameson performing on Saturday evening.

The festival itself, the individual beers, ciders, glasses and even the music have been sponsored by local villagers and local businesses

The event, put on by the Wanborough Old Boilers group is raising money for two worthy causes - the 4Kelly Foundation which supports young people with their mental health and the Ben Saunders Foundaton which provides holiday homes for the terminally ill and those at the end of their life and their families.

The New Calley Arms landlord Jon Beeden has also promised festival food throughout the event, including a BBQ, Paella, and Pizzas.

It starts at 12 midday and runs through to 11pm on both Friday and Saturday,

Weekend tickets are available at the New Calley Arms or online at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/the-old-boilers
