A street in Old Town will fill with food this weekend as a popular festival returns under a new name.
The Sausage and Ale Trail comes back to Wood Street on Sunday as the Old Town Street Foods Festival to show off the wider variety of delicious dishes and drinks on offer from more than 20 vendors that will be serving visitors from 12pm to 5pm.
Guests and families can sample fine cuisine from around the world, try a variety of tipples and craft beers, enjoy live music, and support local businesses.
The Ridge, C&C Catering, Cocina del Diablo, Soleluna Pizza, Balulas, Hop Kettle, Mamas Sweets Treats & Fudge, The Tuppenny, Sugar Shack, The Kings Arms, Fandangos, Stockers Street Food, Glamorose, and Leyvan Spice are among those taking part.
The Old Town Business Association is organising the festival following the success of its Wood Street street party during the King's Coronation, which attracted 7,000 people.
As part of a collaboration with Swindon Paint Fest, which is also taking place this weekend, local artists will be working on new murals in Old Town just around the corner from the food and drink festival, near the old Adver offices.
