Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon has teased Strictly Come Dancing fans about who her professional dancing partner is.

The 39-year-old revealed she finally knew who she would be taking to the dancefloor with this autumn on Instagram.

On Friday (September 1), she told her 287k followers: “This is the face of a woman who found out her Strictly dance partner. It's a man. I know, and he's really good at dancing!"

Alongside the thrilling video, she wrote: “I now know who my #Strictly partner is. I didn’t realise how hideously anxious I was waiting, the control freak within losing her sweet little mind.

“Anyway, I’ve been put out of my misery & I am b****y delighted, we haven’t started training yet but I already feel a bit calmer which I’m sure is deluded but I’m leaving in for now… Hit me your guess?!!”

When Angela was announced as just one of the 15 stars joining the Strictly line-up for 2023, she commented: "I’m terrified, I’m excited and I have so many questions. Will they make me tan? How itchy are sequins?! Do they do flesh coloured sports bras?

“Well - there’s only one way to find out, right!? Now I’m panicking a bit... but also secretly thrilled about the prospect of all that glitter. Let’s go!"
