A CAT show has been hailed as absolutely fabulous after a Persian puss took home top honours.
Tytherton Tillthere Wasyou, the bi-coloured Persian, won the award after being picked as top cat on the day at the 10th annual cat show at the Oasis Centre.
The puss and 500 other cats were judged on beauty features including bone-structure, eyes, legs, tail, coat and temperament, and judges at the show proclaimed the winner was absolutely beautiful and well-kept.
Organisers said the show, which saw more than 1,000 visitors and cats from as far the Channel Islands attend, will go ahead again next year at the Oasis because of this year's success.
John Robinson, one of the event organisers, said the day could not have gone any better.
He said: "The show was absolutely fabulous, it was so easy at the Oasis because staff are just so great.
"This year was the best attendance ever, the winning cat, and her three-year-old owner loved the day.
"The cat was wonderful and very beautiful."
The Wiltshire and District Cat Club said the event also helped to raise £800, some of which will be given to Cats' Protection.
