A Wiltshire couple who already own a popular soft play business are embarking on a new adventure.

Hannah Airey and partner Rhys Pitt from Royal Wootton Bassett started Chase Your Dreams Parties and Events in December of 2022.

The business started as a result of Hannah wanting to organise a party for her son Chase and finding out the soft play company she was going to hire from was closing down.

She purchased the equipment and has been organising parties and weddings ever since and is loving the business’ impact on customers.

But now, the couple have announced that they will be starting a new food business alongside the bouncy castle hire.

“We are starting up a food Smokinly Good BBQ in December and we are also setting up our own venue which can be hired,” Hannah said.

“The food is brisket and pulled pork that is smoked for up to 18 hours.”

Hannah’s family have inspired her to start and expand on the business she founded.

“I have one son is two years old called Chase and I wouldn’t be able to do this without having him because that’s where I have learnt it all,” said Hannah.

“Every party is just so different, I hate it when I can’t go to a set-up and see everyone’s happy faces.

“My dad Jason Airey has also inspired me and has always stood by everything I have wanted to do within the business as honestly wouldn't be able to do it without him.”

“It is normally a 14-hour shift and you work the weekend but I absolutely love it,” Hannah said of the soft play business.

“Doing a kid’s party and seeing their faces light up is just so rewarding.

“I have always loved hospitality and I wouldn’t be able to do this job if I hadn’t worked at all the other places.

“They say you should never work with kids or animals but I’m against that.”

The 23-year-old went full-time with the business in March, quitting her role as head housekeeper at The Pear Tree in Purton.

“Already we have had a lot of repeat custom and how great our communication is and how clean our equipment is,” said Hannah.

“We pride ourselves on providing exactly what the client wants as we do a lot of weddings as well as parties.

“Rhys helps out and is more of the muscle so he carries all of the heavy stuff but I am hands-on too as well as sorting the office stuff.”

Hannah and Rhys are embarking on a new adventure now alongside Chase Your Dreams, with the pair starting up a catering business later this year.
