In what is quickly becoming one of the town's annual festive traditions, Westlea Fire Station has confirmed Fireman Santa will be returning.
For the last few years, Father Christmas has toured parts of Swindon while sitting atop a vintage fire engine to bring smiles to the faces of local children.
There will also be a collection during the event to raise vital funds for the Fire Fighters Charity,

Well…Santa has just confirmed what dates he’s going to be coming to Westlea Fire Station so that we can escort him around West Swindon! So get your diaries ready…"
The post revealed that the tour will be heading to Westlea on December 4, Eastleaze and Shaw on December 13, Grange Park on December 17 and Sparcells, Peatmoor and Ridgeway Far on December 22.
A spokesperson added: "Each evening Santa and the crew will be departing the station around 5.30pm, and closer to each date we’ll provide which routes we’ll be taking.
"We’ll be walking alongside shaking buckets, handing out chocolates and taking donations for The Fire Fighters Charity…we can’t wait to see everyone there!"
