Wiltshire Police is appealing for information after a pile of rubbish was set on fire near a gas pipe.
The incident is said to have happened along Somerville Road in Swindon outside a block of flats.
Wiltshire Police said in a social media appeal that the incident happened approximately between 6pm and 6.15pm on Friday, November 24.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “If you witnessed the incident or have any information, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54230124915.
“Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
