An eBay seller was scammed out of £800 after they were tricked into thinking money had been transferred into their account.
The man, who is said to have agreed to buy a mobile phone using the online marketplace, turned up at an address in North Swindon between 10am and 10.15am on Tuesday, October 3.
He had a young child with him and showed the victim a screen indicating a bank transfer of the money.
He then left with the mobile phone but the money never arrived in the victim's account.
