A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident in Calne.
It left a woman in her 30s in hospital with serious injuries - but not life-threatening - injuries.
Police were called to Lawrence Drive in the town just before 1.30pm on Saturday, December 2.
A post on the Calne Police Facebook page on Sunday read: "We responded to reports of domestic on Lawrence Drive, Calne, just before 1.30pm yesterday afternoon.
"A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody."
