The following cases were heard at Swindon Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.

SWINDON: Daniel Lachacz, of Hurford Drive in Thatcham, has been sentenced for causing actual bodily harm.

The 42-year-old indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a man in Swindon on February 17, 2023.

He received a community order that required him to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work, pay £500 in compensation, and pay £85 in court costs as well as £114 to fund victim services.

SWINDON: Pawel Kolwinski, of no fixed abode in Swindon, has been sentenced for drink driving.

The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Scania Lorry along Franklyn Road on December 1, 2023, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.

He has been banned from driving for 21 months, fined £269, and ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £108 to fund victim services.

MOREDON: Lewis Noone-Perrin, of Elborough Road, has been sentenced for drug driving.

The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to driving on Jones Hill in Bradford on Avon on May 8, 2022, while having seven micrograms of THC per litre of blood in his system.

He has been banned from driving for 36 months, fined £150, and ordered to pay £400 in court costs as well as £60 to fund victim services.

RODBOURNE CHENEY: Oliver King, of Alanbrooke Crescent, has been sentenced for driving offences.

The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Corsa along The Planks in Swindon on May 20, 2023 without insurance or a driving licence.

He received eight penalty points on his driving licence, which was enough to disqualify him for six months. The defendant also received a £160 fine and must also pay £200 in court costs plus £112 to fund victim services.

PARK SOUTH: Lavel King, of Crawford Close, has been banned from driving for 18 months, fined £120, and ordered to pay £48 to fund victim services.

The 46-year-old pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and using a Ford Transit without insurance on Priory Road on February 4, 2023.

She also changed her plea to guilty regarding a charge of failing to provide a blood sample to police on the same date as the other two offences.

STRATTON ST MARGARET: Gabriel Costa, of Twickenham Close, has been sentenced for a driving offence.

The 28-year-old drove a Ford Focus along Drakes Way on March 11, 2023, without insurance.

He has been banned from driving for five months, fined £355, and ordered to pay £90 in court costs plus £189 to fund victim services.

MOTORWAY: Kathryn Alexander, of Allington Way in Chippenham, has been banned from driving for 14 weeks.

The 59-year-old changed her plea from not guilty to guilty in relation to her failing to provide a breath sample to police after being suspected of driving a vehicle along the M4 on January 14.

She has been fined £250 and ordered to pay £200 in court costs as well as £100 to fund victim services.

DEVIZES: Tudor Alexander, of Forest Walk in Speedwell, Bristol, has been sentenced for a driving offence.

The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to using a handheld mobile phone while behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi L200 in Devizes on March 9, 2023.

He received six penalty points on his driving licence and a £143 fine and must also pay £57 to fund victim services.

MOTORWAY: Timothy Ellis, of Barley Fields in Thornbury, has been sentenced for speeding.

The 53-year-old drove a Kia Xceed along the M4 in Wiltshire at more than 70mph on March 30, 2023.

He received six penalty points on his driving licence and a £550 fine and must also pay £90 in court costs as well as £220 to fund victim services.
