An illegal New Year’s rave in Wiltshire attended by around 200 people was busted by police officers overnight.
Wiltshire Police officers attended the illegal rave in Coombe Lane, Enford, Pewsey on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
Upon entering, the force found approximately 200 people at the event along with roughly 100 vehicles.
A police presence was maintained at the site on Monday which has been supported by the drone unit.
People have now begun to leave the site following the police’s intervention.
The force confirmed that despite the heavy turnout at the rave, no one had been arrested on New Year’s Eve or so far on New Year’s Day.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “The police presence will remain at the site until this afternoon.
“No arrests have been made at this stage.”
