While many spent their New Year's Eve ringing in 2024, someone was at Lydiard Park causing damage.
Swindon Borough Council has asked members of the public to 'bear with us' as they begin to make the necessary repairs to the damage caused on Sunday, December 31.
One of the park's notice boards and the door to the cafe were deliberately broken during the incident.
A council spokesperson said: "If you’re visiting the park, please bear with us as we make the necessary repairs.
"If you see any anti-social behaviour or vandalism, please report it to Wiltshire Police on 101 or on their website at www.wiltshire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/."
