A motorcyclist was injured following a car crash on a major Wiltshire road.
The incident occurred at around 7.40am on Wednesday morning at the New Road cross roads in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Both a motorbike and car were involved in the crash which saw the rider of the former injure their knee.
The road was closed as a result but reopened just after 8.30am.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We attended a collision at the New Road cross roads in Royal Wootton Bassett this morning shortly after 7.40am following a call from the ambulance service.
“A motorbike and car were involved in the collision.
“The motorbike rider sustained a knee injury.
“The road reopened shortly after 8.30am.”
