A HGV driver who was killed in a crash has been named.
Jaroslaw Gorski was killed after his vehicle entered the opposite carriageway of the A420 and crashed with another HGV, an inquest has heard.
The 48-year-old, of Bailey Road, Oxford, was driving between Faringdon and Watchfield on January 9 when the crash happened at around 12.50am.
He was pronounced dead at 1.39am by a critical care paramedic and he was identified via photo and tattoo comparisons.
The driver of the other HGV was taken to hospital but their injuries were not believed to be serious.
An inquest was opened into Mr Gorski’s death at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (January 24).
A medical cause of death has been offered as ‘massive trauma’.
Senior coroner Darren Salter has scheduled a full inquest date for June 24 at 10am.
