A TikTok creator with almost 25 million likes has slammed Swindon’s Magic Roundabout.

Imznation, who has 625,000 followers on the social media platform, made the parody review about the town recently.

Among the targets of his review was the train station, Magic Roundabout and a branch of McDonalds.

He said Swindon was “a place you should only come to if you are forced to”, and asked several young people to name a reason to come to the town, only for them to be unable to do so.

“Don’t do it, don’t put yourself through this,” one young woman said when asked for one reason to come to the town.

After getting many young people to say negative things about the town, he approaches two adults, one comments on the availability of drugs and the other - a man on a bench - tells him "It's a nice place."

He also took aim at the Fleming Way road works, where construction has been taking place on a new bus boulevard for almost 18 months, and said: “I don’t know one place that has this much construction work, I’m telling you right now that whatever they’re building here better be worth it because it’s in the middle of the road.”

He also visits the Magic Roundabout where he runs across it to one of the central islands.

"I can't lie, if you don't have an IQ of - what's a good percentage of IQ, I don't know - if yours is below average, trust me, don't even come here to try and drive."

He ends the video by walking into the train station while the intro from Fresh Prince of Belair plays.

A member of the public, who wished not to be named, has criticised the video.

"This is the latest in a long line of people who come here, highlight some of the worse bits and ignore all of the good that there is in Swindon - just for some internet clout.

"It's so easy to point out the bad things, anyone can do it, but there's more to Swindon than this.

"Yes, the town centre could be better, but honestly there is nothing wrong with it and the majority of the time it's a pleasant place that's just as good, if not better, than many other town centres across the UK."
