A sandwich shop in Old Town briefly ran out of stock after customers rushed to show support ahead of its closure.
The Baguette Bar on Prospect Place has been a popular local fixture for more than three decades but staff announced earlier this week that it will soon close its doors for good.
After spreading the news on social media and in the Adver, the team saw a strong surge of support and fulfilled so many new orders that they temporarily ran out of stock at 1pm on Thursday.
People wishing to pop in and say farewell still have a few more days to do so - the final day of trading is on Friday, March 1.
Co-founder Brenda Ronanyne said: "We're going to miss our lovely customers, everyone was devastated when they heard we were closing.
"They have looked after us all this time and we want to thank them and our absolutely lovely staff for their support.
"It was difficult preparing for all the orders on Thursday. People were having the oddest combinations because that's all we had left!
"It's been a wonderful 31 years. I've got plenty to do, though - I'm renovating my house and working on the wildlife pond in the garden."
Lucy Hayes added: "We have been overwhelmed with the support and are very grateful."
