A Swindon town centre pub has temporarily closed as it prepares to celebrate its birthday.
The Waiting Room on Fleet Street is currently covered in scaffolding as a major refurbishment is underway.
The staff plan to welcome customers back inside from 9am on Thursday, February 29 once the 10-day project is completed.
The team will host a big sixth birthday party that continues into Friday and the following weekend, with live bands, DJ mixes, and screenings of live sport on big-screen TVs.
A spokesperson for the pub said: "We absolutely love the Waiting Room and the community in which we serve, and cannot wait to throw the doors open again to our lovely customers.
"Come celebrate our relaunch weekend with us, with great drink deals all day long."
The birthday bash on March 29 will feature music from the 1960s onwards with DJ Roly performing until late.
Vocalist Penny Lane joins the festivities from 7.30pm on Friday, March 1, with The Corsairs performing on March 2 and guitarist Mark Woodruff playing some tunes on March 3.
In 2018, the craft union took over the site that was once Swindon's only dedicated LGBT venue, The Mailcoach, which had been in business there for 20 years.
