Residents have been left angered after finding dog poo on their doorstep, their front garden and the street almost every day.

Residents have been faced with the disgusting affair for at least two months along Galsworthy Close in Liden.

One resident believes it has been the same dog owner responsible, showing the Adver a video of a man with several dogs, as one defecated on her doorstep.

This resident suffers from epilepsy and regularly has to be taken to A&E, meaning paramedics often have to quickly rush in and out of the house.

When there is dog faeces directly at her front door there is no way of stopping it from entering the house.

The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that the dog poo is often left at around 11am every day and has caused her a lot of concern.

She has now bought extra cleaning products to disinfect the entrance to her flat multiple times.

She said: “People need to think about what other people’s circumstances are because it does seriously affect them.

“I am concerned that if little children walk along, they might slip on it and that is disgusting.

“The smell is disgusting and it seems to be in the same place it is right on the doorstep."

Another resident also dealt with the issue and explained that it was usually on the piece of grass directly outside of their house.

This resident said that it frustrates her and her partner but there is very little that she can do to prevent it.

She said: “It is absolutely everywhere.

“It is one of those things I have to ignore because it is happening all the time.”

Another resident took to Facebook to complain about the mess.

They wrote: “I'm sick of picking it up when I don't even own a dog!”

The post received a huge reaction from the local community with dozens of people sharing their disgust and anger.

One user complained about having to avoid the dog faeces while doing a school run.

Another user wrote: “Height of laziness. Please be wary of other people.

"If your dog does his business please pick it up. Doesn't take 2 seconds."
