The latest weather forecast for the coming days has been revealed after residents in parts of Wiltshire woke up to surprise snow on Saturday.
An unexpected yellow weather warning for snow was issued by the Met Office on Saturday morning (March 2, 2024) after parts of the South West woke up to a blanket of snow on their rooftops.
The snowfall affected roads across the county as motorists were warned to avoid driving in the snowy conditions.
But locals better build their snowmen quickly because the latest Met Office weather forecast has revealed the county is unlikely to receive any more snow in the coming days.
"It's going to be staying cold through the weekend across the UK but there will be some drier and brighter for Sunday," said Met Office forecaster Annie Shuttleworth.
The latest hour-by-hour forecast for the next few days in Swindon is as follows:

12PM to 5PM – Highs of 4° and cloudy with chances of light rain
5PM to 8PM – Highs of 4° and cloudy
8PM to 12AM – Highs of 3° and cloudy
SUNDAY
12AM to 6AM – Highs of 1° with temperatures dropping below freezing overnight
6AM to 12PM - Highs of 6° and cloudy with chances of sunshine
12PM to 5PM - Highs of 7° and cloudy with chances of sunshine
5PM to 12AM – Highs of 6° and cloudy
MONDAY
Highs of 8° and lows of 0°, with cloudy weather throughout the day and heavy rain expected on Monday evening
TUESDAY
Highs of 9° and lows of 1°, with cloud and chances of sunshine
