The latest weather forecast for the coming days has been revealed after residents in parts of Wiltshire woke up to surprise snow on Saturday.

An unexpected yellow weather warning for snow was issued by the Met Office on Saturday morning (March 2, 2024) after parts of the South West woke up to a blanket of snow on their rooftops.

The snowfall affected roads across the county as motorists were warned to avoid driving in the snowy conditions.

But locals better build their snowmen quickly because the latest Met Office weather forecast has revealed the county is unlikely to receive any more snow in the coming days.

"It's going to be staying cold through the weekend across the UK but there will be some drier and brighter for Sunday," said Met Office forecaster Annie Shuttleworth.
