A teenager has been arrested after police found a firearm and drugs in a raid on a Swindon address.
The Serious Youth Gang Violence Team executed a warrant at a property in Cottington Close on Monday, March 4.
With the help of Police Dog Bracken, they discovered and seized a firearm and a large amount of Class A drugs.
Police at the scene arrested a 15-year-old boy and later charged him with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 5.
After the hearing, he was then remanded in a youth detention centre, where he will remain until his next appearance on Tuesday, March 12.
