A popular annual market is returning to Swindon this year and will be using new venue.

The Swindie Makers Market's fifth year will see stalls selling handcrafted and homemade goods from independent businesses fill Pattern Church.

Organisers say that Swindie is a one-day event that 'brings together talented modern makers, musicians and food & drink businesses all under one roof!'

A spokesperson said: "We are now on our fifth Swindie, after the success and demand of the last event at STEAM, we've moved to a new venue, The Pattern Church which boasts three floors making way for up to 100 talented makers and small businesses all showcasing their modern, trend-led products.

"Alongside makers, there will be four street food vendors serving a range of cuisines as well as great coffee, bakeries, breweries (we welcome our very own exclusive 'Swindie' beer this year from the boys at ViBish) and four live music acts playing hour-long sets each all whilst you shop and browse.

"Come visit and soak up the vibes on April 20 at the Pattern Church, Swindon between 12-5pm'"

The organisation's first event was just before Christmas in 2021 at Christ Church, Swindon.

Since then two more successful markets were run on April 2022 and in November 2022.

And the last event was held at the STEAM Museum, with up to 100 businesses involved, in November 2023.
