A new application submitted to Swindon Borough Council suggests that a new restaurant may be coming to Old Town in the near future.

Asley Rodrigues has applied to the licensing authority for the grant of a premises licence for A3 Restaurant on 117 Victoria Road in Old Town, between Chicken Cottage and the Post Office.

If approved, the business set up inside the currently-empty building would be allowed to sell alcohol between the hours of 11.30am and 11pm daily.

The full application may be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsible authorities, and/or other persons (e.g. people/businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations at any time until April 19, 2024.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
