Stagecoach has issued a statement after one of its fleet crashed into three cars on County Road.

A bus went into the back of a queue of vehicles waiting at the mini-roundabout at one end of Manchester Road, then continued onwards and hit a phone booth, garden wall, and electrical cabinet.

Two people were taken to hospital while others were treated at the scene.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach West said: “We can confirm that one of our vehicles on the 10 service was involved in an incident on County Road, in Swindon on Saturday March 30, 2024, shortly after 3pm.

“No serious injuries have been reported but our first thoughts are for the welfare of those affected by the incident.

“Safety is our absolute priority, and we will carry out a full investigation into the circumstances as well as assisting police with their inquiries."
